Privacy notice
How we handle your data
This website is operated by Block-9 FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It does not embed third-party content such as video players or social widgets, and its fonts are served from the site itself. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept them; the section on cookies below explains what they are.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address and message. Organisation, telephone number, the type of enquiry and the project it concerns are optional; we receive them only if you fill them in. We use this information solely to respond to you.
The form is protected against automated abuse. That protection keeps the sender's IP address in the server's memory for ten minutes to limit repeated submissions; it is not written to storage.
Where your enquiry goes
The website itself does not store enquiries: it has no database, and no copy of your message is kept in application storage or in backups of the site. Your enquiry is sent as an email through a third-party transactional email service to BLOCK 9's corporate mailbox. That service may keep a record of each message — addresses, subject, content and delivery status — for a limited period for troubleshooting, after which it is deleted. In our mailbox, your enquiry is retained for as long as needed to deal with it and in line with BLOCK 9's retention practice.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH in a data centre in Helsinki, Finland (European Union), and reached through Cloudflare's network, which protects it and speeds up delivery. The web server keeps standard technical logs — IP address, requested page, date and time, browser type — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted after 14 days.
Cookies and measurement
With your consent, we use the following services to measure how the site is used and how our campaigns perform: Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager where used). They may set cookies and receive technical information about your visit, such as the pages viewed, your browser and an approximate location, and the fact that an enquiry was sent (never its content).
Google Analytics uses Google signals: if you accept and are signed in to a Google account that allows ad personalisation, Google may link your visit to that account to give us aggregated reports on audience age, gender and interests. We never see who you are. You can turn this off in your Google ad settings, and learn more in how Google uses data from partner sites.
Until you choose, Google services run in a restricted mode that sets no cookies, and the Meta and TikTok pixels are not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time from the link at the bottom of every page.
The site also keeps your cookie choice in your browser so that it does not ask again on every page.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to our companies' own websites and to LinkedIn. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that site apply.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete the information you have sent us at any time by writing to [email protected]. You can also contact us by email or telephone instead of using the form.
